[Vehicle] Mi-24 Hind [WIP]
Hoping it is the right place for posting this one.
I was reading trough general forum where they talked about Russian helicopters. And Hind was mentioned then I thought maybe I can start model it and see where it will go from there.
This one is not planned to be in PR in the future. That's up to PR group if they want it.
Note it will take some time ~2month maybe. But going to move to another place in a month or so. So I will see how fast I can make this one.
Note2. One day I going to ask about different things about animation and importing it to BF2 if I cant figure out something about these topics.
And if there is something I need to do before finishing the model and texture it self please post and thanks.

yeah nice work, finally a hind for PR.
Could come in use for the Cold War minimod.

Not really I am in the school yes. But in TDA ( The Drawing Academy ) Was applying to KAU but didnt get in
And thanks guys I will keep this going I do to want to see the Hind in PR
though this is a ruff model of Hind and haven't tweaked it yet and will be better looking ( I hope )
Note the tris limit is killing me
PR is 3000 for outside

I can tell you this much, don't put the weapons on the pylons, those are added later

Yea, I applied to the CGA line but my drawing skills were not good enough and they recommended me for TDA, but I figured that 1 extra year would be too long for me. So instead I am taking a master in my current education. I hope you make it inAnariaq wrote:Mange tak

I would say that 6-8K tris is the limit to shoot for here. 3K is a very old guideline.

Looks good so far, keep it up, I mean dont stop when it gets to the harder parts 

Well, if you take a look around the BSS mods, you actually find two hinds that are done. One can be found in Operation Peacekeeper and the other one is, of course, available at US Interventionchuckduck wrote:yeah nice work, finally a hind for PR.

And seems that there is already Hinds? something PR could get?

anyway this a little work interior and got a question. Have any seen Hind without the doors?

Model the doors seperately. That way we can possibly have them animated to open/close when it takes off
