Well i say all of them except for the SA80 light support thingy, with the longer barral and bipod, but not sure if that is actually on the list.
Well they have to include the SA80 A2, the minimi and L86.
IF they create a pilot class, giving him the carbine would be agood idea, becuase it is realistic, they are being given to driver. UPDATE - some PR peep has siad this is wrong above, i am confused.
And when they manage to create a weapons choice system (like unlock thingy), including the GPMG would be an excellent idea, alone with giving all support classes the option to either have a light or heavy machine gun. THe GPMG being a heavy one.
Also, i hope to see both a grenade launcher and suat (sp, i tink) on some SA80 A2's, bit of firepower never does any harm.

Have you been under a rock? Firstly, I suggest you look at the banner. The chap on the right is a British soldier holding an L85A2. The British Army are one of the key objectives of this mod and are going to be added in PR 1.0. I'm surprised there are people around here who didn't know that, but then again I guess most people came here for the 'Realism'.USM-ST3.Spyder wrote:Well if they make maps with UK forces than they will have weapons like that i expect, but the USMC doesnt use l85s just to let ya know

The L22 is not used by the British Army, Royal Marine Commandos, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force, they did use the L85 AFV but i think it may be replaced by smaller weapons.G.Drew wrote: btw, what will they have as the UK carbine if there not using the L85 PDW

The British will use either the L85A2, C7 or C8 rifle to compare with the MEC's AKS-74U, USMC's M4A1 and the PLA's QBZ-97.
This thread is kind of stupid, every bullet-fed weapon used by British forces exsept the L110A1 Minimi Para (I think they have just made the L108A1 instead) may already be made and ready to port into the game.
Both soldiers on the banner are British, notice the ear-peice and more effective desert camoflarge on the one on the left too.I suggest you look at the banner. The chap on the right is a British soldier holding an L85A2.

I'd say all of those weapons deserve to be in, save the MILAN, which is being phased out in favor of the javelin (IIRC), the L85 carbine, only a few prototypes were ever produced and that was back in the days of the very first (and if the people who used and tested them are to be believed) very, very bad L85's (these things are pre-A1. And the A1 wasnt all that, but at least an improvement) and possibly the L86. Why the L86? Because that to is being, by and large, phased out of frount line units. Ever wonder where all those L85A2 AFV ultra-short carbines came from when they havent made any new L85's in quite a few years? Well, they used to be L86A2 LSWs, before the army decided they were rubbish for the LSW/SAW role and either had them cut down to AFV standard or re designated them DMR rifles, in all but name.
And remember the minimi needs to be the para version, not the full sized one. The L85A2 should have a 4x scope (probubly the SUSAT, but it has been stated that this will be replaced in the near future, and the frount runner is the American ACOG) and the AG36 UBGL. Man, if that thing is true to the real steel, its going to kick so much as it'll be unreal.

The British special forces carbine should be the C8A1 SFW (I forget the British designation). I believe that the AFV is a stop gap until NATO decided if it wants 5.7x28mm FN or 4.6x33 H&K ammo for its PDWs. And that seems to be taking a long time. The L22 is not used by the British Army, Royal Marine Commandos, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force, they did use the L85 AFV but i think it may be replaced by smaller weapons.
