Frozen Upon Revive
I think it is rediculous how somone can be killed only to have a medic bunny hop out to him revive the bunny hop back to cover with the half dead guy hopping along behind him
I reckon a 5 second Penalty time that you can not move would be a cool feature. once the guy has been alive for 5 secs and regained his vision he can move
As the squad / Medics would look to secure the area before going to get the injured guy.
I searched a few different variants and nothing came up so sorry if already suggested

Re: Frozen Upon Revive
It would make sense, except that you can't drag people in the game. The alternative to dragging is reviving them and having them follow you. As it is right now, a recently revived person can't sprint anyway, and they're gonna be pretty confused due to the shaders turning their vision to ****.
Perhaps a longer revive animation is in order. The problem with that, as I see it, is that the revive event (I guess that's what you'd call it) is instant and happens at a specific point during the animation. So, if you could time it right, you could still revive on the run.
Bunny hopping, on the other hand, shouldn't happen in any situation. Unfortunately, there's nothing to be done about it, besides server adminning, perhaps.

Typical sniper whining.. Sorry but I can't help to think that you are a sniper that can't take that your kills aren't noted because the enemy got revived.
However I do agree that it's too easy to revive someone but only because it would be more "realistic"... NOT because I don't get a chance to shoot the wounded and the medic...

I doesn't matter if he plays sniper or not, it's still retarded, if anything it's worse in squad vs. squad engagements. If someone gets taken out at range a squad can take cover and get them up etc, if it's in close quarters urban combat or something and people are getting up people 10 metres in front of you then having them run away to be healed while the rest of their squad supresses the hell out of you it's a bit of a farce.Sgt. Can imagine the DEVs are pretty limited with what they can do with this though, they managed to get rid of the sprint function when your really low on health obviously, but complex things such as delays seem to not really be possible when going inbetween different positions, weapons, states etc.

Watch dead bodies. It's what you should be doing in PR just as in vanilla with the revive function being there in both.
Regarding bunny hopping, isn't there a 60 second respawn penalty for pressing the spacebar like mental? That puts me off.

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Me neither, I can't imagine it to be true cos like failure said I've climbed plenty of hills in in .85 doing that and I've never come across it.

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

Re: Frozen Upon Revive
Ya the reviving is becoming very much vanilla like.
I cant recall how often I've taken down 5 of 6 and then get popped by the last, picks up medic kit and revives his whole squad.
Atleast make medic kit un-pickable. As IRL nobody else then the spawned MEDIC would have the skills to operate that kit.
If you're medic goes down, you're F'ed up.
Or P.S: Another great idea that was already mentioned often, Just make it so that we can "execute" the wounded with a bullet to the head.

I find this offensive You can't Execute people in a "T" rated game Kill them ya but an Execution Is way to close to the "M" rating.JohnnyTheIED wrote:Ya the reviving is becoming very much vanilla like.

I would wait and see the new medic kit system It fixes everything I have run into.

^Free mods like PR aren't rated.
I think he's just suggesting that shooting at wounded soldiers should finish them off, nothing particularly sick or gruesome (at least relative to playing a war game).
But I recall a dev mentioning that it wasn't possible, and instead they've made it so you'll be insta-killed if shot again within a certain amount of time after you were revived.

As the medic kit is going to be limited in 0.9, why not make it so no one can pick it up ? Just Johnny said. I really like the idea.JohnnyTheIED wrote:Ya the reviving is becoming very much vanilla like.

And tbh I think taking back the insta kill on headshot will solve alot of these problems.
