Now with max 9 i do the above but once i have applied the UVW unwrap modifier i cant click edit making it impossible for me to edit multiple objects uvmaps at once making then impossible for me to make ONE texture pallet for all the pouches and kit items. If anyone knows a way to get round this or how to edit multiple uv maps at once please let me know, Cheers

[?] Editing multiple UVW Maps
Now is this possible in AutoDesk 3ds Max 9, i know its possible in max 2008 coz i used it heaps but i tried to uv map some pouches and stuff for my kits that i have been making, but the problem i am running into is that in max 2008 all you had to do to edit more then one UVW Map at once was select all the objects then add a UVW Unwrap modifier and then i could click edit and work on them all in the one panel.

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

Like you say you can't add a single modifier to multiple objects in 3dsmax 9 afaik.
I think it would be easiest to attach all the objects into one, edit the uvs then detach the elements back into separate objects afterwards. Well thats how I do would probably do it
