TANK AMMO

Post by Wild_Wokman »

How do you get tank ammo? On El A???? XXL, we had some great tank battles, but we could not rearm from the supply crates. How do you rearm?

First off, ammo can't be given while holding the bag. It needs to be dropped. Second, ammo bags can't reload armor, unless i'm mistaken. And yes if an assault class is in a vehicle other vehicles can get ammo but sitting near his vehicle.

I'm guessing thats suposed to be the makeshift supply & repair area? It does become quite pointless though then you are on a large map and are about 5 minutes away from that UAV trailer, why cant you resupply from a supply crate?

Why not add Engineer APC's? That reload and rearm any veichle while staying close to it.

Even if they were to add that, it'd take time and for now it makes sense to have the UAV trailer doing something. If you want resupplying with tank ammo, go home, it's a long way but at least you save 9 minutes that it'd cost you for another one to respawn.

That answers my question, but the UAV is too far away on most maps. We need a supply truck. The driver of the supply truck could then get points as ammo is taken.

A good supply truck is an Assaut in a jeep.

An assualt can not resupply the tanks and APC's. We need some type of mobile resupply.

Bwah all you people are wrong. As it stands currently:

You can only get vehicles rearmed by driving up next to a UAV trailer

Ground soliders on the other hand can get rearmed by standing on a thrown ammo bag and waiting, standing next to a supply crate, standing next to a jeep.

I'm 99% sure thats true.

I definately think Supply Trucks would be a good and more realistic approach to rearming vehicles and troops.

I suppose the British get the classic 'Matador HF'!
Or the Bedford 14-tonne, Bedford 8-tonne, ‘Four Tonner’ or the BV206.
