Headphones and mic use-need info

How do i go about using my headphones with a microphone for online play, do i go thru teamspeak to talk to others, how do i find ip numbers for using teamspeak if that is how i do it. I would love to speak to team players online while playing, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all.

Either use TS or you can use VOIP by using the push to talk button (standard button is B). VOIP runs on the same server as the game and you do not need another client as BF2 handels it. Some server do not support VOIP though

So do i just plug in my headphones/mic and push B when i want to spek to someone, does this allow me to speak strictly to the team im on correct?, thanks for the help

Just plug in your Mic and it should work, B to talk to your squad mates

You can also use Teamspeak, if you do I suggest getting Teamspeak overlay, here is a guide on getting it working with BF2 (pictures need reuploading should be fixed tonight)

Black, you need to plug them in, start up bf2 then go into options and run the VoIP tests to make sure that they are working correctly and that the volume levels are adjusted to where they need to be.
