Brake (or "Reverse") Lights on light vehicles?
I like driving/manning humvees, but when I am in a humvee driving behind another one, it can be annoying when the one in front of you brakes. Unlike actual driving, there is no lights on the back to tell the drivers behind it, it is slowing down.
So when a driver presses "S" (or whatever they made it to if it is custom), can the DEVs make it so brakelights show up.
BTW, searched and found nothing....

It's probably doable (I'm not sure) but... There is no problem with lack of lights, just maintain safe distance between you and another vehicle in front of you just like IRL and there will be no need for that.
If you stay close behind the vehicle in front of you and it stops you will not be able to react fast enough even with stop lights on (just like IRL).
BTW. I must admit it would look really nice in the mod....

IRL certainly for the British kit and i would dare say most other nations use a si milar system, tail light, sidelights reversing lights etc etc give away a vehicle and therefore a 'convoy' light is used.
A small lamp on the rear of the vehicle is illuminated and all other lights disabled when tactically moving (all the time unless on public roads) and people strictly observe 50 m between each vehicle. Just dont drive so close to the guy in front and you have instant realism.

no they shouldnt, its not needed imo
you should keep distance anyway, if you get under fire 1 IED can take out 2 cars then. not if 50 meters spread

Re: Brake (or "Reverse") Lights on light vehicles?
I'd like to be able to use the reverse siren thingy, shame they didn't get it workin in .8 or whatver
(press 2, press horn, you hear it, everyone else hears horn)
right now I just honk in the same rhythm. or shout on mumble "VEHICLE REVERSING STAND CLEAR!!!"
etc etc.
The lights would be...nice I guess. But the reverse speed of vehicles is so fast that they wouldn't give much warning.

I don't think lights are really necessary. I can't believe I'm referencing this, but even in generation kill they don't use them.
