I think it was that film "We Were Soldiers" where this guy gets hit in the face by one and they have to cut his flesh off or something, either way it looks pretty awesome.![]()

Ever seen Enemy at the Gates? Now that's one awesome sniper movie, but let's save that for the OT section.
Not sure how white phosphorus would work in game. It'd basically be a one hit kill grenade which 'burns' you and your health quickly declines until you're completely dead... Thermate (yes, I mean thermate not thermite) anyone?

Tear gas is generally used by the military for riot control. Military Police SRTs might also use it for barricaded suspects.
The US does not use the M34 white phosphorus hand grenade anymore; it could send WP fragments out to 35 meters, and the average soldier could only throw it 30 meters. This is why it was sometimes dubbed the "suicide grenade."

The AN-M14 thermate incendiary grenade is still used. I believe Deuce posted a video showing what it did to a car (and almost did to a building when it burned through the car's brake-lines).Malik wrote:Thermate (yes, I mean thermate not thermite) anyone?
Full, official title is Protocol III of the Geneva Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May be Deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects. Informally, it's called the Certain Conventional Weapons Convention (CCWC). And it doesn't ban their use entirely, just the deliberate targeting of civilian populations with them.Bob_Marley wrote:Whilst they never did get round to signing the anti incedury weapons agreement (I forget its actual title)
