Hi,
I was wondering if someone here could tell me what the backpack spawn feature is and what it's for etc...
Thanks,

Re: Backpack spawn?
Real life its called a Rally Point:
What this represents is a rallying point for your men. A common practice with military's. It would be a point your men would return to if something went wrong or the squad leader decided to fall back to. A common regrouping point.
In game its represented as a Backpack spawn:
In PR we use this as a spawn point as the numbers on the battlefield in real life cannot be done. So to simulate a massing of troops on a point we allow players to respawn. Now if you read the manual you will see this rallypoint/spawn is very easily destroyed/removed. The reason behind this goes back to this representing a rallying of troops. If this rallying is overtaken by the enemy it no longer is a point to rally to.
Things it is not:
- A place to request weapons
- A fixed spawn point
- Dropping a bunch of weapons to use later
- Bags of ammo/resupply
- Not Rally's hamburger joint.
