'[MPN wrote:Slouch2;1029172']Hahah, you didn't use the old excuse "But they Steyr needs carbon to work, sir!" like we did? Not that it ever worked for us.
HAHAHA omg if on ly we knew that one in kapooka ay.... lol we did say pretty much the same thing when at thee unit hehe

As for that video its not very clear but it looks like he just pulls the barrel off, with the real f88s theres a barrel release stud witch gets pushed down then you twist the barrel and pull off...

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

Nice video Tonnie

wikipedia
Weight 3.6 kg (7.9 lb) (standard rifle)
3.3 kg (7.3 lb) (carbine)
3.2 kg (7.1 lb) (subcarbine)
3.9 kg (8.6 lb) (LMG)
3.3 kg (7.3 lb) (SMG)
3.82 kg (8.4 lb) (L85A1 empty)
4.98 kg (11.0 lb) (L85A1 with SUSAT sight)
6.58 kg (14.5 lb) (L86A1 LSW)
4.42 kg (9.7 lb) (L22A1)
2.9 kg (QBZ-95B Carbine)
3.25 kg (QBZ-95 Rifle)
3.35 kg (QBZ-97 Export)
3.9 kg (QBB-95 LSW)
m4
Weight 5.9 lb (2.7 kg) empty
6.9 lb (3.1 kg) with 30 rounds
m16
7.8 lb (3.5 kg) unloaded
8.79 lb (4.0 kg) loaded
the styer looks like quite a light weapon (weight wise I mean) I wondered how will that affect its ingame performance compared to other rifles? e.g. recoil, and time to draw the weapon. (e.g. the m4 is .5 seconds faster than the m16 ingame) Will it behave much like hte QBZ except with less recoil because of the smaller calibre? - btw, all these values are for ingame disussion not for Vs purposes.

woah, always amazes me the kind of stuff that can be done today, is that all done in 3DS Max or in the editor etc? I'm guessing you model each moving part separately and then attach them together on different hinges/movement planes relative to the model, like in a CAD program like solid works.
I'm just curious as i only have very limited knowledge/experience with this kind of design

Your ELCAN is way too small compared to the rifle itself.
