Yeah, as he said a few pages ago alot of them are quite ambitious and a few are probably not even possible with the current build of mumble. Gonna copy and paste all those ideas to an appropriate area in the mumble forums to see what they think at some point.

Restart the mumble server again please, and give me an Xfire contact or something where i can ask for a restart.

It keeps happening again and again.

Edit:

Mr Robbie awesome told me that we should all go on Configure/ Settings / Network and make sure the TCP Mode is checked ON!

Otherwise we cant hear eachother

Perhaps the murmur server could be restarted at like 06:00 GMT daily? Might help reduce these problems, and I doubt many people would be on at the time.

Maybe in a next version this should be checked and locked, like the distance and etc.

Well i hope so too Roman, id really like to see more mumbelers though, i always try to "sell" mumble to my fellow squadmembers, and also the team, and sometimes people actually do go through the trouble of actually downloading it and trying it, but when i cant help them fix it properly, i think most people just looses interest.

So, im glad the devs are putting a hard effort in to make sure its easy to install.
But i would like to ask, if they could put the "PR mumble BETA 0.4" in the main page, with the news, on the right side, or as a news update, so i dont have to say:

"Go to realitymod.com, then forums, then to general discussiun, then one of the red tagged which is called Mumble or something, on the first post i think there is a link for download"

Cant we just say:

"Go to realitymod.com, on that page there is a download link to Mumble 0.4"

so people can have a simple link to mumble we have http://www.imgoingin.co.uk/mumble on our site, it redirects you to the mumble download thread.

I suggested a while ago that all mumble loving clans should have a similar link, cuz it looks a but bad if I put my clans website in all chat on another clan's server.

Hardly anyone in our servers use it sadly.

I made threads teaching people how to still and use mumble.

We can notice a simple and small sucess. For example, yesterday we had 30 people in a full server in Fallujah, Fantastic game.

I think the reason that alot of people lose interest is the fact that many servers have very few people on mumble, and even if there are people using it, theyre often on different teams/different squads.

Jonny - the auto channel thing you were talking about - how doable is that?
As some of you know Im setting up a game server that will have compulsory mumble, so that feature would be VERY handy.

The server will be called Reality Teamwork and the forum now open for registering:

Reality Teamwork

( Heres the original thread about the server idea: )

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr-general-discussion/59770-pr-server-idea.html[/QUOTE]

As a side note to server admins, it is possible to integrate a mumble viewer window into clan websites, in the same way you can do it with teamspeak/gamemonitor - this might also encourage more people to download it.

Well mumble is a succsess on iGi!

Everything ingame is easier, its a completly new game with everyone using mumble. So hazzah!

If the devs force Mumble, they wont be sorry, we know this.

I think mumble is good as it is, aslong as people got their audio working, so many people struggeling with this, TCP, force center etc. Lets make a final version once and for all!

I am starting to like that wink...
I never heard they where trying to replace ingame voip for this? Im also pretty sure I heard one of the devs say that this is not a short term plan and might not even be a long term plan.

I sure hope they wont do it any time soon! Means you cant radio to anyone in your squad. Chopper pilots, Tank Squads etc.
