Well saturday is before sunday and I'm sure many people will be using mumble on say UKWF or IGI or pretty much any other server on saturday, so you could probably check then.

btw, I'm trying to organise it so we have a backup mumble server in case the main server breaks or something. I shall post ip/password for it when I have news.

Nice constructive post there tartan, ya big ninny.

I've been waiting for this moment for so long, now it's here I just don't know what to say...

But I'll think of something, and then I won't ever shut up.

Finally.

I never really used mumble properly.

This is the PR (Public Relations not project Reality) that mumble needed.

iGi have been spreading mumble love hard telling people about it on our server etc.

When the news ticker is implemented in .86 alot more people will use it.

Just to mention, We won' be kicking people for playing music unless they spam it, play it over the radio function, or it becomes negative to gameplay.

Dammit,

I keep trying to find a server to test mumble in-game, and keep failing miserably...

You wouldn't think it was this hard, but it seems to be near impossible to find anyone on the map who is also on the mumble server to talk to locally. I do the occasional soundcheck on the SL channel (I know, it is frowned upon as a grunt), but so far have not had any positive response.

This is doing my friggin' head in I tell you...

I am so there. Fuckin eh boys sunday night is going to be a good one!
What of 0.86 comes out this weekend? :O

EDIT: Firefokker, try the Tacitical Gamer server or UK Warfare. Also make sure youre connected in the right channel in mumble! Once you do get it working it makes the game like 10x better and more immersive so dont give up!

Guys, teh mumble server isn't working atm thats why you cant test it. They will restart it and it will work again.

For the night I'm sure we will have a back up server hosted by iGi, so don't worry about it not working :)

Rule of thumb, if ur PR mumble client isn't crashing, it'll probably work :D

Count me in!

Just need to get mumble sorted and find some mood music i.e. "Long Tall Sally"

I endorse this product.

That'll piss the R-MODs off considering a recent thread.... :D
