You make me happy.
I love all the themes. Mostly I love jungle for the close contact. Love just walking up on people and having a full blown blind gun fight. It does suck when people turn their settings down for an advantage.
I love Tad Sae, but it does need to have a different Flag arrangement.
This is because you get to see around the current flags and thats it, no where else. maybe a fight at the river if you ambush a boat. Thats all.
US - hummers and trucks head north and fight at the north flag, if Chi are fast they might ambush, fighting ensues whoever wins has flag and remains to defend.
Guys boat/swim to the village and defend until both flags are theirs.
Chi - Boat assault heads west, fights over flag until won and defends.
Men run south to attack the south flag, fighting ensues, usually aroudn the village, if Chi win they defend at the west shore, US win they defend village.
So, you tend to fight over the village in the south, the crappy village in the north with the guard towers, teh rice paddy by that village, and the forest east of the south village, and maybe once or twice on the river.
The temple is pretty much ignored, as is the cave, as is all the ground south of CHi main. Because once you have the flags....well...bleed ends the game in 30seconds.
Either add one or two more cap zones or add cap zones to the main bases and have only a VERY VERY slow bleed. This will make it so the game involves more manourvre and fun, and you can listen to that damned chinese dude on the speakers during combat which is a laugh.

Trust me we turn down our settings for FPS reasons. I believe very few people actually turn down their settings for an advantage.

its for FPS reasons
well our objective wil be to make that a non issue if possible..
we ont be ralying on undegrowth for anything related to concealment...
Most people dont like them, because those maps are "mediocre" as someone said in PRT forums, dull, boring etc.
They dont use the full capacity of bf or PR.No combined arms, no urban fights,HATs,snipers and even marksman kits have no use(i am not a sniper whore). With even grass not being rendered, its really pointless.

No joke, I had the quickest game of PR ever on Tad Sae yesterday. My squad (US) hit the flag at the very north and held it while another squad took the first flag to the south. After they took it, the Chinese bled out in about 5 minutes. I am not sure if the game even lasted 10-15 minutes....
I had the highest score with a whopping 3 kills...
Whoever put a bleed on that map wasn't thinking lol. It should be like Sunset City with no bleed at all.
There are some new jungle/woodland maps coming in the future, I just hope they made 0.86 cus it will be a while before 0.9 and we really need some new maps. There is a Steel Thunder remake type map and a Russian woodland map. IMO, the jungle maps usually encourage much better tactics because you can sneak around and flank more often than in city type maps without being spotted.

You use the grass to hide! And to you other person saying the grass was pointless.
Jungle maps are not dull and Boring, they are more challenging if the oppossing team is half decent, for eg. a game on Tad Sae, where we were americans against the CHineese, and we were walking all over them and managed to cap one of the flags quickly, with the other one being attacked. As my squad tried to flank round the enemy, we walked THROUGH an enemy squad who were using the undergrowth for concealment, hiding in the grass etc. and blind firefights started up, mostly ending with people knifing each other because they were running low on ammo and were so close it would be wasteful to fire, and it wasn't in a noobish way, just we knifed each other because we were so close!
