al kufrah is way too small for jets, and way too open for helicopters.
might be cause i don't fancy the map.

Its a nice idea, i think helo's would be a better idea. However you dont have much chance, too many fun nazi's on forums will promote realism over great game play

Great gameplay? The map is to small, and the terrain is to flat for choppers in general going against conventional armies with the distances in PR.

Think before posting. Al kufrah was to small for tanks, how can it be big enough for a chopper. you need atleast 2x2km maps for gettign attack helos, al kufrah is 1x1. A chopper can cover that in 10-20 seconds.

If there was an attack chopper on Kufrah it'd either have a full view distance so a chopper could see more than half of the map at any given time or have a short view distance (Kind of how it is) and make the chopper useless.

Small maps with air assests is what vBF2 was all about, action, spam and 'fun'.

Call me a nazi but it would be lame on sooo many levels.

Well why not have a new twist for Al kufrah, something the beta testers could see if it works. Have Al Kufrah but some trucks and then helicopters. No IFVs etc. As i said not saying BRING IT IN NOW, just saying its possible, it could be alot of fun. And by helicopters i mean Transport and attack. The attack helicopter would be obviously quite a main assest so it would "hopefully" bring the team to try to defend it and again "hopefully" try to get people to think about their lives rather than the ones they are taking.
