The US Army uses the Kiowa Warrior in Iraq and Afghanistan, for sure in the Korengal Valley.

makes night time flying more dangerous IRL according to Ed Macy, but ingame it makes no difference tbh.which in my opinion is quite sensible as there are NO tanks used by the Taliban.
