There needs to be less boats, too many people think they can just run off with a boat by themselves.

Yes I know its stupid

But theres like 9 boats. 9x6 = 54. There are not 54 people on the team.

make it 6 boats that have a respawn of 5mins and you now have a better balance.

Or make 4 of the starting boats one spawn only.

Yes....


+ AFAIK there is a spawn points group on the main deck and it could be removed as well since there are no transport helis on 16 players layer.

Another solution could have the boats explode, kind of like the cars on some maps explode after being left alone for a while.

Ya but allot of the maps actually use this feature so its already in game. IE Korengal valley uses this for Technicals/cars. There are already plenty of unrealistic things being implemented for gameplays sake.

technically its not realistic, but its more realistic than them being left alone and ditched. a way of returning them to carrier so....


but IIRC this already happens with the boats on barracuda 16

you could make it so you need 3 people in the boat before you can drive it problem fixed.

Yeah but what happens if you need someone to pick you up in a boat? What happens if everyones spawning on the island and your on the carrier?

Im sorta torn on the topic. Ive seen people drive off with themselves and one more person before and this happening with lots of boats but its just the way things will happen really. It doesnt matter the amount of boats people are still driving off by themselves.

Major issue is how to get suplys to the island, i know there is a logistic truck that respawn on the Docks, but if the chinese camp that area you are prety much screwed.

maybe readd the commander vbf2 supply drop for 16 man maps with a Carrier?

I say 4 boats total. That way we will need to have dedicated transport people seeing how the boats now have 8 seats. I'm sure everyone will volunteer for that job seeing how everyone wants to do it when there are only 2 helicopters! :P

I think someone suggested a supply boat not too long ago, it would be good for this map.

In my opinion, there will be people that drive off alone in a boat no matter how many boats there are, but stricter admin rules or a passenger limit can fix that.

Guys....the boats DO EXPLODE after being left along for roughly a minute! This version of Barracuda is the most balanced and I've seen the USMC do much better on Boat mode than Helicopter mode. Anyway, on Heli mode, you have about 10 people waiting for choppers instead of actually trying to cap.

yea that was me :)

Remember the carrier is way out there, and the boats can land anywhere, so if a dude decides to take a boat alone he might not be noticed. (I only notice this because I've been making videos of a barracuda round from the Battlerecording)
