Re: =]H[= Chicago Hardcore Servers (USA)
Can you fix your auto balance please. I was playing in an excellent squad, and suddenly I was switched to the other team when I was shot. I would understand if the the teams were REALLY uneven but when I got teamswitched it was 32-30. On top of that, my team had a bunch of grey 0 pointers, people who werent even in the game yet and yet I was the one switched, one of the top scoring players!
It's very annoying when you've spent half a round with a great squad and then you get forcefully switched. I left the server cause it just irritated me so much.

Is baseraping allowed on the insurgency server? I just got off from trying to play Op. Archer on it, and a big part of the US team were stuck in the main because of technicals and bomb cars constantly killed everyone who spawned and destroyed all the Hueys. People on the server said it was allowed, but I'm pretty sure one of the servers messages said it was not. I might have misread tho...

Yes, it is in the server rules as well as the scrolling messages.
3. BOTH SIDES MAY OPERATE ANYWHERE ON THE MAP.
Baseraping is allowed, but not encouraged.
Insurgents are allowed to shoot into the US main, something the coalition will have to deal with, you have superior weapons and something the insurgents don't. Optics... use them.
This only applies to Insurgency, Baserape is not allowed on our AAS server.

Re: =]H[= Chicago Hardcore Servers (USA)
your 'baserape' rule is often misused by the admins. it's getting ridiculous, to be perfectly honest. last night on bi ming, my squad was defending the communications flag (as chinese). we were in the red circle labeled '1', actually ON THE COMMUNICATIONS FLAG ITSELF. we engaged a boat in the red circle labeled '2' and destroyed it. a guy on the other team, 00soldieroffortune00, started complaining solely because he felt that the baserape rule had been misused against his squad on the previous map (on sunset city...i saw the chat messages but we had nothing to do with it) and wanted to cause trouble for us. the admins bit and told us to move immediately (even admins on our team that could see where we were and were told that we we actually on the communications flag. let me state right now that no one in my squad got anywhere near the red circle labeled '3' and fired into their main base. we were covering the river toward the red circle labeled '2' and to the west of circle '1'.

basicallly the admins threatened us unless we abandoned the communications flag. needless to say, the flag fell to the enemy within about 4 minutes, and all the strktm guys logged off about 1 minute later.
i understand having the baserape rules (to an extent) but what's even worse than baseraping is an admin mistakenly yelling 'BASERAPER!' when it's not the case. unfortunately, this is not an isolated event. i'd like to play on your server but overzealous admins are making it harder and harder. i would recommend removing bi ming and sunset city from your rotation if the server rules are going to be enforced the way they were last night.

Did you try explaining where you were exactly? They can't force you out if you are trying to capture a capable flag. My guess is that the admins on the other team simply were being miss-guided by the information given by the guys on the boat you killed.
I am sure that it doesn't happen often because there is no way a admin would force you off a capable flag.

We were stricly protecting our flanks and preventing the enemy from recapping the island. We only engaged targets of oppurtunity that were comming out of base that became threats to our position. Were not going to take the role of the U.N. because we know these are "tangos" that are mobilizing to kill us.

Had a great couple of rounds on Ramiel and Basrah today. One of the few rounds where the whole team works together. Which is rarely seen on any server at all.
I must admit I often see 6 ppl in a helo sqd waiting in main for the choppers, even though we only have 2 full sqds looking for caches.
Not to bring this thread OT, but have you considered "out of clan" admins. During the European hours, when no admin is online, theres alot of asset stealing, sqd locking among other things going on.

I was communicating with their squad with mumble and we were defend the flag very well. WE did not engage the enemy until they hit the beach or were firing on us.StrkTm_Leopold wrote:We were stricly protecting our flanks and preventing the enemy from recapping the island. Yeah I second jevski's comments somewhat. It was a bit hit and miss at first, with our squad having fantastic apc usage while the team floundered around the base getting slaughtered by their ineptitude and bomb cars on karbala. Later on though, the server seemed to get it's act together with some great teamwork on sides, mines everywhere while inf was supported by strykers and the like.
I have to agree with the guys above, the baserape rule is a bit poorly managed on AAS by admins sometimes. However saying that, the admining on H is some of the best I've seen online, with them coming down hard on smacktards and asset wasters etc.

Re: =]H[= Chicago Hardcore Servers (USA)
We did not tell you to stop defending the flag. If the '2' box is where you say you attacked the enemy you are fine. Yes I was in the server and was the main one stressing baerape but all I had was your position and cals for baserape. From what I saw your squad appeared to be right at the waters edge and could easily engage British troops at the bridge or across the river to the north which I stated multiple times.
I was not concerned with 00soldieroffortune00 and his calls about this round he kept bringing up, merely about anyone shooting into the main. Again if thats where you said they were you are in the clear, no one told us where you shot them, all we had to go on was your position and the baserape call. We did not tell you to stop defending the flag, in fact I even stated a few times to just back up and hit them when they hit the beach. When you all did just suddenly leave the flag we were wondering what you were doing and thatd wed lose the flag which of course is what happened.
Doesnt matter the distance from any sides main, shooting into it, at the entrance from it/mining entrances, is considered baserape and will not be tolorated. If we knew where you shot the boat then this matter would have been cleared up alot quicker, sorry for the inncovenience.

They have admins that are not in the clan. They are the regulars. Some of them have admin powers any person that has the *]H[* is a moderator that was picked by the members.Jevski wrote:Had a great couple of rounds on Ramiel and Basrah today. I've been playing a lot on H servers lately and wow! Admins really know how to handle idiots. No warn, no kick. A ban right away. Bravo, hat is off to you admins. Great servers, great admins. Strict admins leads to awesome gameplay.
Like previously brought up though, consider promoting some H members to admin or giving them ability to kick. I did play a few times where H members were on but they were not admins and couldnt do anything about some trouble makers.

*H* are regulars to the server and not in the clan, however we do have some non members we trust who have limited admin powers and will not be named.

We appreciate your interest in our servers! Our admins do their best. I just want to note for other players reading this thread that warns & kicks are used before bans on most occasions - reading our rules can save you (& our admins) alot of headache. For the complete updated list of rules visit our site: www.hoggamingclan.com
As for the Admins:
=]H[= Full Clan Members & Admin
*]H[* are Community Members + Admin
*H* are Community Members (non-Admin)
If you're interesting in becoming a *H*Community Member, please visit our site!
You're feedback is important to us & we're working on somethings internally to answer your calls for more Admins during European gaming times. If you're experiencing problems ingame & don't see any admins, generally if you ask in chat anyway there'll be one watching in BF2CC that can take care of your issues.
Thanks for keeping our servers populated & keep the feedback coming!

This is not the right place to post about admin abuse you should take it to there forums I'm sure this admin will be looked into they like to keep a clean server.
If you want to repost admin abuse you should PM one of the [PR] server license providers.
The only one I know of is [R-CON]FlyDoggie witch is a member of =]H[= but he will not show any softness for admin abuse he is a no bull **** person and most likely there best admin over all even tho hes been away for a few weeks.
