In love with the lee

Post by M4sherman »

Has anyone else fallen in love the the enfield? (non-scoped and scoped) Because I certainly have, especially when you have your squad pin them down and you move up with your buddy to pick them off at 50m. or when you are hiding in the trees and and a three man squad takes out your mates then you pick them off at point blank, then hop down the hill and snipe their sniper :)

Thanks to whoever put this old gal into the game!

Actually when PPSH is cocked the animation push back on bolt. Its Incorrect. PPSH is open bolt submachine gun. He can't push it forward because trigger is locking the bolt in place and if he pushes bolt forward like that he will blow his hand off.

I've never understood why the reload animation for the Enfield puts two clips into the gun. Is that really how it works?

Yep, two 5 round clips for a 10 round internal magazine, means you can reload half way through the mag, among other things. I suppose 10 round in line clips are going to be stupidly large as well.

Yea the enfield is surprisingly good in ranges of 50-100m or maybe even closer, IMHO, the enfield encourage one to take cover after each shot, instead of standing in the middle of nowhere firing full auto without hitting anything.

Nice work Chuc! However at 0:18 when he puts the clip in, his wrist is clipping through the cocking handle, otherwise, fantastic work :)

The best thing is, DEV's said it will be changed in 0.85, but it wasn't. :(

Very nice work, Chuc. I was wondering if it was possible to code the reload more like that of a shotgun, where if you still have 5 bullets left, you only put a 5 round clip in, or if you have 3 left, you put a 5 round clip in but no more, etc...

Pretty much loading in batches of 5. Dunno how possible that is though, but would be amazing, nay? :p

I think its great.

Though the scoped one is comparatively a POS compared to the other SRs.
Still, its fun because you are using this dusty little rifle against an overbearing force, plus the bullet drop is about 2 meters at 280m lol, which is pretty drastic by PR standards.

It used to fire a virtual 7.62x39mm round in .809, now it fires 7.62x51mm NATO. Supposedly they coded a proper .303 British for .86x
