Hello everyone! I am a semi new PR player (I have been playing heavily for about a month) and am looking for other mature players to play with and I understand the dynamics of the game as I have been "practicing" so to speak.
I've just reached the point where I have started to become slightly annoyed with casual SL's. I like to stay active and I follow orders so I was just wondering if there are some people on here who would be willing to let me play with an experienced squad. I do not have delusions of grandeur. I just know that medics are typically valued and appreciated by serious SL's. And I love to do it! (I'm a good shot, too!)
I've also been practicing with all sorts of choppers in training servers and in unpopulated or servers with very few people and have limited actual combat experience. I've been practicing all sorts of flying styles, and would be SO grateful to anyone who would be willing to show me the ropes. I think I'm ready to dole out some death from above!
If anyone is looking for a serious medic, or willing to let me in your chopper, I would be very grateful!
Thanks,
Dubbs

Welcome to the forums
I always find an awesome squadleader on either TacticalGamer, Tactics & Teamwork or .:iGi:.
Just look for the tags.
Cheers!

I'd keep an eye out for special server nights as well, TG run a great passworded server night, and we in .:iGi:. are running a Mumble Night on Friday

Welcome!
Quality medics are always a good addition, in urban/close combat I prefer medic as the ironsight is more useful there and i can help out my squad.
If you have Xfire give me a call, mostly active at late european time, which favors americans.

Re: Career Medic and Aspiring Chopper Pilot for Hire!!!
Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys! I love TG and am going to look into iGi. It's active gameplay and submersion that does it for me.
Is there anyone who will be on tonight around 3:00 (and later) EST?
I'd also like to get some kind of dialogue going about 2 different issues concerning squad tactics.
1. I'm a little biased as I am almost always a medic but I've found a very common situation in which during situations where I am reviving someone (even when ordered by the SL) I frequently receive little support from the rest of the squad in terms of fire support/covering fire. All I want is for 1 or 2 guns near me, scanning around for threats. Too often, circumstances will find me out in the open with just me and my critically wounded squad member, while the rest of the squad takes cover and I get killed.
Is there any kind of consensus on a tactic for a quick revival, then a covered retreat to a good place for patching up? I haven't done much searching yet but I feel like if the squad secures the area, I'd only need about45 seconds to hit em in the chest, use an epi pen, drop a field dressing (in order to ensure he can make it a few meters to a safe place), then I can patch him up properly some place safely.
ps - I don't want to make a huge post so I'll address the other issue later.
