No Scoreboard, more realistic?
Would you consider removing all the stats viewable from pressing <tab> by default?
Leave in the ping and map vote, and what ever else that would make sense to leave in.
I found that when I started playing this mod on some foreign server that had ABR, I was spending time looking and keeping my score in mind. Then an local server got popular and that didn't have ABR. Now I think the gameplay is more realistic and fun.
I therefore wonder would it be better for the gameplay to know that no one on the server cares about their stats, and it could then be assumed they are not camping, etc?
I don't think I even like the idea of knowing how many kills you have got. This column can tell you if you killed the person.
How about saving all the details for the screen at the end of the match? So people can stillo know their scores.
What are your thoughts on this? I think it is definetly more inline with reality.

I'd change the title of your post to 'No Scoreboard, more realistic?' just to avoid any confusion.
I think its a great idea which actually came to me tonight as I was doing the same thing, checking my kill count and then checking again to see if they were killed. I also use it to see who is killing me so in that way its handy.

Although I like to know how I'm doing during the round, I'd also agree with this idea.
I also use the Score page to check whether or not I killed 'that guy', which is pretty unrealistic, plus sometimes I'll stand around for a second, just to check my score during game.
If it was only shown at the end of the round, as suggested, we'd still know how we did. Don't know if it's possible, but maybe have it so admins can still check during the round though?

I think this idea has been discussed before. I honestly don't know the official 'reply' to it, but it may be something that's hard coded, and therefore impossible to remove.

I'm not often looking on the scoreboard during a round. I concentrate on other things....
Besides the unlock and ranking shit from BF2, where you have to play for points to get the tactical advantage of more weapon unlocks, a scoreboard is not that harmful for gameplay imho.
So, better concentrate on other thing in development!

This idea is brutal, this form of state are the core fo VBF2 and sadly it might loose us some players, alot possibly.
It the long run, i think it might have a good affect, players more concentrating on teamwork and capturing or completing objectives that actaully killing.
Could you just not put a black box or obscure it with something random. Not removing, jsut blocking from view with something really retarted but effective??
