Try bing.com XD

i'm sure iRL it is possible like the flak shells but idk if there used in this day and age especially in tanks but if there is then meh, how would you be able to set the range it explodes in mid air at? and would it even be possible to do with the BF2 engine?

Seriosuly, tanks need AA missiles aswell. Its not easy enough to shoot a heli down with the main gun at the moment anyway, and that is their primary role.

M830A1 HEAT shells that the M1A2 uses can have proximity fuses on the warhead. Alternatvely, the gunner could simply set the shell to explode at a given range - the shell fuse is simply set to detonate after it has completed the rotations to reach a given distance. And seeing as HE rounds out of L44 and L55 cannons found on western tanks can reach out accurately to 5km+, tanks can be very effective helicopter killers. Regardless of what Alex thinks :P

I don´t deny they are, I know they are, but generally helis can fire from double that tanks range while on the move, on their own and have 8 tanks down in around 30 seconds. ;)

Tanks are not effective AA. Unless you had some big beast like a Chinook flying in a straight line you might be able to hit it with you main gun.

Of course in PR tanks are the bane of all helicopters and even some jets.

If this were to be included it would not be for all tanks, as only the US M830A1 round has selectable-fused air-burst capability

this isnt technicaly true the russin t60 i think or summat like that uses them in real life if this quote refers to gameplay then i cant comment, terms of how to implement it u could possiably have the range finder that the driver has by using the right ckick wen u find a range by lookin at it that could be the range it explodes at dnt no if its possiable

Guys PR has a sorta rock papper sissors gameplay when it comes down to it.

Infatry beats helo, helo beats tank, tank beats infatry. Of course theres obviously some cases when this is not true.

If you give a tank AA capabilitys then your completly changing gameplayer. All of a sudden the helicopter is even more exposed.

Stop getting upset because a apache kills you because you cant shoot it down. Its only realistic.

The .50 caliber MG is for anti-air, both in PR and IRL. And in PR it is quite effective to ;)
