I was also there on Saturday and Sunday, with a friend of mine , we had camera with mic from school,so we went just record some sound effects of explosions , helicopters tanks,and record some reference video etc, etc, we`ve got even a premission for military captan to stay near the warzone by demofield ,to get ability records some cool souds without voice of the guy who was talking all the time by tribunes,we were actually in the warzone, because we stood so close , that apache`s where hanging near us in 10-15 meters,and flying near us, we`ve record a video of tanks wich were shooting near us, and ofcourse exposions , wich were about 30-50 meters from us.We`ve got the most amazing feeling of shockwave after explosion With a big badabum

There is allways next year for the army demo days but on june 19 and 20 we have the Airforce demo days at Volkel AFB

this is not relevant.. but this is me on exercise.. a sprained ankle caused me some hard times when marching ffs, i really hated my heavy gear (+/- 30 kgs) at that moment! it was a great exercise though. the way i walk there is really awful

they are to proud of there individual selves that they would never do such a thing, shame tho.

but the Marine days in Den Helder are really really the most awesome and worth to go to, even if it means coming from the other side of the world(channel)

If they would bunch it all up in one event i had to book a hotel for a whole weekend becuase there is just to much to see.

B. You cant display a frigate on a army base

C. And Den Helder naval base is to small to to display the army and airforce although they do have a few things to show on each others event.

You think 30 kgs of gear is heavy? At the Dutch Airborne troops and the Marines they walk with +/- 70 kgs mate.
