Helicopter control "mouse invert not taking"?

I am trying to set the invert on helicopter controls but it is not taking in game, this is so that when you push the mouse forward the nose goes down instead of the default up.

Ive set it before joining a server, during the game, nothing takes.

Any ideas of what i can do.

edit: although the copter control unlike any of the other controls such as air craft or common (which took invert), a reset to defaults, then allowed a proper set to invert, it takes after you set it go out then back in, its still set.. problem seems solves now.
