As it stands, the only video tutorials on the subject of animating in bf2 are not for public distribution at the request of the original author, hence the notable skill shortage. If you're keen to learn and are willing to sign a nda with myself then we shall see.

On that note, the tutorials are 3dsmax 9 specific.

I am also interested on how to animate for Bf2, and i have 3ds max 2009.

would be something that would take a lot of time to do but in the long run, I find doing tuts is far better than having ppl nagging you all the time for info on how to do stuff ;)

I've never tried a video tut, I personally prefer working off written tuts with lots of pictures myself but now with HD might be worth doing them, just most old video tuts you can't even see the cursor etc :p

3DsMax9 is best thou you might be able to use Gmax (the free version of Max) but dunno how well that will work for animations. There is also Maya but dunno much about that either apart from Maya is what DICE used to make BF2.
