Quick Question (and YES, I have searched but found zip on the subject):
Is is possible to use some kind of console command in Battlerecorder to move to a specific time index? I want have a look at some stuff in a recording that happened right at the end of a two hour (or thereabouts) game, and forwarding on 300% to there still takes...well, 40 minutes, if my math doesn't fail me.
That's just ridiculous, especially without any chance of a re-wind (EVER, as I discovered while searching).
Cheers

Controlled Fast Forward in Battlerecorder?

No, if you really really want to make a movie from a br there is only one proper way.
Watch it once or twice in its entirity on normal speed, note down the times of events you wish to film
Then you can use an egg timer/whatever to know when the event is about to happen.
Or just go through the BR following urself as you remember the round, and hope for the best. Restart is going to be used ALOT
EA really buggered this tool up, it would have been excellent otherwise.

Re: Controlled Fast Forward in Battlerecorder?
Best thing to do if you want to make movies tbh is to get control of a server (or use hamachi if its only a few people) then Get stuff done to film at the start of the round, then !restart and do something else you want to film. This results in lots of small easy to manage BRs.
But if your trying to get to something that happened in a pub game, the above posts cover it.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the helpful yet depressing advice...
I just wanted to watch some of my antics on Mumble night, but since I started relatively late halfway through Muttrah, it's gonna have to be egg timers at the ready...
