No mistake here, I know a couple of the DEV's and I know they just wanted to make a better version of BF2, not one of the most popular mods of all time of all games. My gripe here is, as a loyal follower of PRM and a regular contributor of feedback for it, is that I fear the game is starting to peak, that if the current path is continued unabated the mod will die of obscurity, relagated to being played on 16 player LAN servers in the basement of the comic book store.[R-MOD]Masaq wrote:See, where you make a fundemental error here is that assuming that playerbase is all the Devs care about.
Waaah_Wah, please show me I'm wrong. When 0.5 was out we (the PRM community) owned two of the top ten BF2 servers and had several more in the top 50. This is out of all the servers which played BF2 and all its varients! We had more players then POE2, USI, FH2, OPK, NAW, and even all but a couple of vanilla BF2 servers playing Karkand 24/7. Now the best server, Tactical Gamer, is ranked #17, second place goes to Thor's Brigade at #451.
