torrent speed over 1mb / sec

At the end I had 660 kb/s

I'm only getting 100 kb/s with uTorrent, I think it's because my port isn't opened but the tutorial it suggested when I clicked on the warning sign was useless. I couldn't figure out how to set up a static IP address.

25 minutes to go, started with 1 hour 40 initially, but it's better than the normal download which was 1.3 kb/s!!!

my friend had a dl speed of 5.5mb/s..... yeah he has some obscene amount of broadband... over 15mb

It means they are taking so much in with their FAST internet speeds he hopes they can give it back to others and not 'steal' it as the term could be.

Hell yeah, I remember being part of the torrent-crazyness when it started
I come into IRC, spam around and ancient gives the link away, was this the first time he gave it away btw? oO Just interested.


Anyway, we got the link and started loading like crazy PR-starvin mfkrs.

I was downloading with 200KB/s, we had 3 seeders and everybody was whining about more.
Patience, now we have more seeders then leechers and I deleted the torrent to see how it is now, I just got 2.4 MB/s, my high end speed which I only get on hi-speed servers. :O OOOO

Just wanted to screenshot that but it fell down to 1.4.
Anyway, its just sweet, this is how a torrent should work, I prefer this for "first spreading", a server would be fvcked with such numbers of DLers.

Of course for the next months it should be uploaded to a host, but right now I just enjoy the torrent system work the way it was supposed to be.

Yea for sure, but in NA we almost all have asymetric connections. ie. I can downlad up to 3 MB/ sec but can only upload a maximum of 120 KB/sec. Even so, I always let my ratio go over 1 especially when it's something like PR. Right now my ratio is 1.3 and I'll leave it all weekend no problem.

My ratio is 2.172, capped at 25 KB/s upload (I don't want it to slow my internet down ) Eitherway, I plan to reach a good number on that before the week is over.

My download was about 50 KB/s. My upload was par with my download from the first second.
