Choppy gameplay singlplayer promblem

I have fixed alot of my promblems with PRSP, but one that is just tooooo far beyond stuff I know is becomeing seemingly irratating.

Promblem: WHenever there is a bunch of gunshots happening it seems to slow down the game and make it very choppy, it gets worst on bigger maps. So would this mean my CPU just isn't good enough for this game or sometthing else?

Whats is all your graphics settings set to ? .....i mean ingame

Dont worry i get it too and i have this system:

Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Q8200 2.33Ghz x4
4GB crucial ballistix (low latency ram)
Ati Radeon HD4850 512MB DDR3

I believe that a sound card may help improve the gameplay as the overloading of numerous gunfire may be causing the choppy play. Ill be getting one soon so ill give you feedback on that

I have every setting set to "low" grphics and all that, I have noticed that setting the sound quality to low also improves gameplay, so I figure that my CPU has sound promblems... maybe...
