RT - Reality Teamwork Mumble (old)

I played a bit last night on this server and it's a great idea to setup a mumble server. Though as from what I expirienced in-game was people not taking it serious. Putting on music or talking jibbirish. It can be fun once in a while but that continued even when the server was full. It's a shame though as it kills the teamplay.

All i said was "Calm down Adolf" after the admin kicked 2-3 people for no apparent reason. (such as "Noob, no mumble"). Wtf?

That round of Muttrah was in the early hours of the morning, when the server rapidly went down hill. I kicked one person that round, as I watched him place C4 on the carrier.

This means you can then use an xfire chat box to speak to admins without using mumble, and with out using in game text ( which often leads to arguments. ) You can also use it to get a space on the server when its full.

I agree that simply saying "noob" isn't the greatest reason for a kick, so Ill try and make sure admins give a little more explanation. Remember that admins are trying to play the game, as well as adminning!

Btw, you might wanna increase the time limit per map. The Muttrah round ended when both teams had over 120 tickets. Then it crashed.

It could be setup right away almost, but it wont be started until the RT website, and the first server is running smoothly. We still need more members on our website too, as that is where you will find the password once it is brought in :

The RT Mumble server will not be updated before Saturday, so you will have to use the *RR* Rescue Rangers server instead, its the only server with the 0.860 installed atm.

I think we will password protect so we can get so mumble action for only the mumble players

I will post the password and stuff on *RR* Rescue Rangers and also on www.realityteamwork.com

I can tell you that the new patch is insane and the teamwork will be more important.

So many dicks on again...I beg you to run a special event from Friday night til whenever where server will be passworded, password avalible here and on the mumble Channel. I look forward tot the day the server has enough pop to be full while whitelisted.

Its because you were only on after 1am - at that time the server becomes just another pub server, with only around 15 people on Mumble. Also Muttrah always comes up then, and heli maps in the early hours, on a pub server usually results in a world of fail.

In the evening 7pm - 12pm it was great again imo ( maybe Im just lucky with my squads ? ) and the force centre mumble spam was almost non-existent which was surprising because there were alot of mumblers.

The password is coming, but I don't think its ready just yet.

PS: every night the mumble server resets at 1.30am UK time - surely this is a bad to to have the reset? everyone gets thrown out of the channel, and mumble kind of dies after that.

I had a really good night last night, commanding was fun, and you could see with mumble is causes two or three squads to stick together.

unfortunately at some stages my mumble wasn't properly configured, so on Op. Archer people had the privilidge of hearing me sing the theme tune to "spongebob square pants". We then created the 1337 Westwood squad, where I unfortunatly lagged out and d/c'd

Was an epic night though!

Yeah on OGT it was great - 3 squads advanced in a line from temple to the south of the map. I looked to the right and saw a large group of troops, and looked to the left and saw another large group of troops, all advancing together using Mumble to share medics and targets - we also heard the occasional PLA guy saying "Oh sh*t!" . The PLA were pwned - definitely a memorable moment

Im going to take down the Reality Teamwork Mumble Server for the evening, as the server will only be updated to 0.86 tomorrow, and it wont be possible to admin the server, as we all have installed 0.86 now.

Please visit Rescue Rangers clan server instead ( it has *RR* tags ) and support their 0.86 passworded mumble party!

Also make sure you join the Rescue Rangers Mumble channel and not the Reality Teamwork Mumble channel - if youre new to mumble, please do not test your ingame settings on the game server channel, as it annoys 64 players ingame.

The server was full at 9, but took a while to get there - It was all a bit short notice, so I dont think many people knew.

As you say people like to play full servers, and thats the reason why RT isn't passworded just yet

Server has been updated and there has been quite a few changes to the maplist. Almost all insugency maps have been removed due to popular demand, but some of these may be put back in with the 16/32 layers soon.

The server tends to be full all the time now, so if you use mumble and want a space, just join the mumble channel and ask
