I was playing Jabal skirmish and set up my MEC AR on the hotel roof. I pretty much pwned the whole US team. afaik they are designed in RL to cover large areas, but the main problem I see is that some maps dont have enough cover for the enemy in some areas. The AR never used to be a popular kit, but I can see that changing :D

Ive just played a round, which ended within around 20 mins. PLA won ;)

Ive not read the change log or manual yet, but the main changes I noticed were the AR and the awesome new sounds.

Thats just it, only the TOW is useful. And do you know whats good against a TOW?

=/ To be honest, i played around before Space, and PLA won by 17 tickets. We were hiding from things like APCs three feet away and stuff...

=/ Apc's have never been scarier when you're trying to hold a point without AT

Never use to have that much organization without a commander, and never have I seen firefights that big outside community matches ^_^, but that was some of the craziest, scariest, roughest, most awesome fighting i've ever had on Qwai.

I'm sorry to say I totally dislike the new Automatic Rifleman and I don't like the "3x2" new rule. While I can place better rally points to avoid 2 guys destroy it with the new "3x2" rule (this happens very often than before) the 4x zoom and very low recoil of the new AR makes it THE perfect weapon, perhaps this is realistic but it's very unbalanced. I suggest a 2x zoom and less precision or a longer deploy time would be more balanced.

Go for a walk on the servers, this is no more PR now the name of the game is AR ! :-?

AR team ... her , PR team please fix it :sad: .

i thought they was going to fix the super human abilities, turns out they didn't, either people are hacking in some way or the game really needs to be fixed.

Qwai is better now I believe. With just 1 TOW humvee, the US can no longer easily dominate the entire map. If you ask me it's still firepower vs mobility, cept in this case, the Chinese side gets a hell load of APCs while the US gets a very useful TOW humvee that should be used as it should be.

you guys are not used yet to fear the ARs like they are feared in real life .

Please feel free to leave comments but also when leaving a comment try to explain the comment you write. Its the only way we know what the issue is. danger01 post is a perfect example of what not to do.

ok. i am in crouch, aiming at enemy running towards me, i wait , he runs into my sight, i have a clean headshot, i fire( enemy should be dead.), he hears the shot, jumps, i drop my aim to his landing point, he lands prone, i fire again to his head, he fires and kills me.

there is no way in the world this is possible. you cant run, jump, land prone and fire for the kill in real life, i know i have been there.

this has always been my one big peeve with this reality mod, i call it super human ability.

first off, try running, jumping and landing on your belly, then do it in full kit with a rifle and try and hit for example a standard door. impossible, let alone a human target in a crouch.

I dont like how you cant select your kit when you are waiting to spawn...
I dont see the point of changing that tbh.

I can now put my textures on high since this patch, so yay.

I hear you, thats a lame BF2 limitation we and all other MODs have always had. Hopefully the new bf2 patch will allow us to rid this or at least limit it.

i bet i would love it but i still cant get onto it :(

damn pr.exe wont work it keeps loading vBF2 instead of PR even though the shortcuts properties say its going to PR

Try using the TOWs against a mechanized unit where the infantry actully is supporting the armor. They eat TOWs like snacks...

Enjoying the game, good fun, the new sound effects are a difference that's for sure, been playing Jabal now and the MEC apc's keep rolling over, leaving the helpless crew's inside. Only thing which is a little annoying is the easiness now to shoot and kill people, that being said , the game isn't over as quick as i thought it would be with 1 medic, and i guess i just need to adapt to survive.

Yeah it's good, but I found a bug I think it's happened to all of my squad members, we were on the valley map, and when spawning, sometimes you just spawn at a random outpost, not the one you chose. I ended up spawning at the bottom left of the map in the mountains and my whole squad were top right. It is a really annoying issue, please fix it! :(

Sorry for the double post but geez, I posted this after I spawned at a random outpost and committed suicide, I posted that last one whilst waiting to spawn and when I went back on BF2 I had went to ANOTHER RANDOM spawn point! Wtf!?

This is an EXTREMEELYYYY annoying bug.

Bravo! Bravo!

Love new cannon sounds on Cobra from inside cockpit, sounds just like ones on the videos you can find of them in action!

Also very grateful for the AK-47, AK-74, and AK-74u increases in recoil, much more realistic!
