I dont have xfire, but if you come on msn for 10 minutes that would be good, I have some news for you (my fellow 50Krs want to change a specific map), youve probably guessed which one :)

I didn't see it mentioned if you guys fixed the Squad Leader Move command CTD problem or not. Or I might have missed it from the release notes.

Will yall be adressing the SPR sound? Because personally I love that gun when Im using it... but I CANT HEAR IT! To me this is the walking to line of reality and balanced gameplay...

In a future release. We are looking for somebody to help with sounds atm, we're a bit light there.

I like the change that makes the supply drop around 50m from where you request it. That seems to simulate the reality of such an operation, and the prospect of playing around that unforseeable event seems fun

I am very much looking forward to this patch!

Can you say anything about fixing crashes? Or is that something that vbf2 has to fix themselves?

There is a bad crash issue with PRMM 0.30 and BF2 1.3. This patch should resolve that.

Not aware of any ohter wide spread crash issues that are not vBF2 originated.

er .. yeah forgot about that... I think Muttrah and Sharqi Night have been known to cause intermittent server crashes. Not sure why yet.

Great news on the smoke. :-D I love having smoke grenades and double the time they last is ace!

Looking forward to seeing the changes to Muttrah as well. I was just about to post about how often MEC cap docks and USMC then have no hope (with out some serious organisation with numbers which is hard to get on pubs of course) which leads to a very boring game. :(

I was hoping for more points being awarded to medics for healing and reviving. If you play the game purely as a healer your points do not seem to reflect the effort and vulnerability you experience during the game. There are the obvious benefits of keeping your team/squad alive but I still feel the points allocated for healing/reviving are a bit meagre compared to other actions within the game.
Are there any plans to limit the number of support gunners in each team as due to it's accuracy and dominance it appears to be the weapon of choice at the moment. It's also most frustrating lying prone taking single calculated shots at a staitionary support gunner only to have them spin around spraying in your direction and getting a kill immediately  Maybe the weapon should only be usable whilst being prone or at least next to useless standing up.
I must comend all the efforts of the development team for providing us with such an enjoyable game and look forward to any new developments with interest

If your patch can fix the prmm crashes due to 1.3 patch, then as far as I am concerned BF2 runs the way I want it to.

I couldn't care less about regular BF2!

i think its great with what u are doing with the new patch but i dont agree with the 4 shouts and 30 second ban from comms...
For a sniper to spot out targets for the rest of the team this would be a nightmare.... after spotting 4 consecutive targets if he spots the 5th one he gets banned.... that is kinda a downer.
Other than that sound good looking forward to play it.

He doesn't get banned, he just can't spot for 30 seconds ;)

Also I think 4 in 4 seconds is a lot - and nobody does that unless spamming

With the current system I normally get blocked for playing medic. If you heal a few people simultaneously, all the "Clear!" and "That's it, you're good to go" messages count as spam and you get blocked. The same with ammo bags, if you keep pressing shoot while you're dropping ammo bags it repeats the ammo message loads of times. I guess I'll just have to be more careful...
