Different grenades for each army
I noticed on bf2 that every army has the same grenade unlike in real life all those grenades are the M67 Fragmentation grenade kill radius is 15 meters lethal under 5 meters the other armies should have their own grenades

So... You get killed by the Kill Radius and Killed by the Lethal radius... Eh?'[R-PUB wrote:maverick']Kill radius is the radius in which damage will be done and lethal radius is the radius in which you will die.
You mean blast radius and lethal radius?

haha, yeah! british army grenade, 1kg in weight, filled with ball bearings. safe distance for a soldier stood up on tarmac is what? 120 metres?
theres a reason why most stone buildings on military property in the UK don't have floors anymore! it's because the nades have removed them!
next you'll want real arty. I seem to remember british arty having a safe distance of 550 yards!

i remember being taught with diagrams where to throw yourself in a nade attack to avoid the majority of the bearings, plus opening your mouth to avoid ear rupturing. the human body can take incredible explosive pressures without you dying, although they forget to mention the ruptured eyeballs and eardrums as following symptoms!
and now with the power of M$ Paint (cos it's more fun than PS!) we demonstrate the proper position to dive into when you see a nade land. feet towards the nade and hands under your body if possible, making your profile slim and low.

Well the whats the difference between the blast radius (where you could take shrapnel to an artery etc and die) and the lethal radius (where you could simply take more shrapnel)?Tacticsniper815 wrote:Lethal means it can kill
Our (my units) designation has always been if you are in the limited 'lethal' radius you are a dead man 90/100, it is a game of probability. Any radius of the grenade is lethal but the inner radius is where you are MOST likely to die and thus lethal = dead most of the time

Does any one know waht would happen if you placed a kevla jacket, with all its ceramic plates inserted over a grenade.
WOuld it stop most of the blast, shread the vest or....
I would also imagine that the affect would vary, with the distance, e.g from being ontop of the grenade to being 1 m away - a big difference?!

I'd also like the ability to be able to take off my helmet, place it over an active grenade and then sit on it to stop the blast..........................
I'm guessing you're as old as the rest of us cronies and remember that episode of Buck Rodgers where he had to escape the jail cell or something and mysteriously found an alien combat helmet and had a small explosive device of some kind (the window was very high up and he needed a leg up rather than blowing his legs off!)
