[.86] Aimpoint red dot USMC

The red dot when going to zoom in, is always in the middle of the screen. The dot does not move with recoil and the dot appears before the scope animation is done.

Steps to Reproduce:

Use a kit that uses the aimpoint (specialist) and zoom in with the rifle.

looks like it uses the vbf2 aimdot stuff, you didn't notice it in vbf2 since the 2d sights came up immediately.

It thought the red dot didn't change position when you move ur own head...but it would if there was recoil like you say. maybe they are testing it out.

I think this bug can be fixed the same way the delay for the map works. Just delay the red-dot HUD element for a few miliseconds, should be ok.

Is that even possible?


I personally love the red dot, it gives free sight and is small and nice, not so ugly and huge-place taking like the old one, I was looking down my fat sights with a red dot in front of it...
This small little bug is something that can be pretty unprioritized.

It used to be ok before. The red dot was a part the the 3D model but now it seems to use a 2d render.

This is a side effect of a thing the DEVs wanted to do.
