pr.exe stopped working

Same here Anyone found a solution yet?

EDIT: After a reboot I got it launched, exited to try again and than bf2.exe game up with an error

Exactly the same for me, including the working after reboot!
Guess is the real problem is the BF2.exe or somthing with the autoread on the cd, wounder what would happen when using a "no-cd patch" because there are alwys some wierd things happen with my drive when i switch CD/DVDs after i used the BF2 CD.

Maybe i try andy´s solution when getting back from work.

It started working after the bf2.exe error strangely enough. It seems a bit random. Didnt had the issue today tho.

Ok first ...

Start in: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr" i don't know what to do. please help, i wanna try the newest patch (and i just came from a percussion concert )

Try setting the start directory to "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\" . I am not sure why but if pr.exe quits before launching BF2, and it is not returning 'null pointer errors', then its likely it cant find where bf2 is for some reason. That setting in the start menu (or whatever directory your BF2.exe is in) might help.

This indeed may be a problem. The no CD EA downloader version of BF2 caused some issues, but they were fixed ... however I cant vouch for anyother noCD versions out there.

I dont have the same problem using BF2 cd, but my friend had. He simly reinstall or upgrade Net framework to 3.5, and it works. He is using XP.
