And getting small, constant lag spikes every 30-40 seconds? I thought my connection was fucked for good, because it doesn't show up on their line tests and they wont fix it.
But, a friend of mine on SBC (AT&T) was having the exact same problem and then I found this...World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Small constant lag spikes after a quick google search for the problem. In there, a bunch of people who play WoW (lol) around Chicago on SBC DSL are all having the exact same problem over the past couple days.
So, I've come to the conclusion that it's a network problem on their end from the huge storms earlier last week and I'm just hoping they fix it soon cause it makes PR and any online game basically unplayable.
Just seeing if anyone out there shares my pain as SBC is a pretty big provider in this area.
Anyone in Chicago area on SBC DSL?

I have the same connection mate but none of the problems. Chicago is pretty big, maybe your area got hit harder than mine? I gotta say the At&t connection has always been crappy for me, crappy downloads, and sometimes buffer problems. But its shit cheap compared to Comcast's 200 dollar price, and online gaming runs perfect

Shit idk another guy I know in a completely different town on SBC was having the exact same problem. I've been running ping tests to different servers and the packet loss is better today. Those people in the link I listed are all having the exact same problem and an AT&T employee said it was probably cause the copper vaults got overflown with rain from the storms? Idk, hopefully it'll be resolved tomorrow cause i KNOW for fact it is not on my end.
