Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
when ever i join a server it lags like crazy. I run normal bf2 on highest graphics with no lag at all, but on PR it is completely unplayable. I am running home premium 32 bit. any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
Okay, so I do the
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" thing and the start in
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2" thing but it isn't working.
What is the difference between the one I posted and
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
Whats modPath?
Anyways it won't start it says Program has stopped working write after I click open. Or run as administrator. Which By the way I did the compatibility thing aswell and it is set to XP SP2.
Does it have to do with the fact that this is from an "unknown publisher"? I don't think so cause it says only use it if you know what it is or have used it before. So I think it's a safty thing. So I guess unrelated.
please I really need help...this looks really sick!

Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
I'm getting this error when I click on the shortcut saying (roughly translated) "this aplication can not be started because the configuration next to each other is incorrect"
I installed everything according to the instalation guide on these forums and didnt' have any other problems thus far. can anyone help me with this issue?

jeah, this mod is full of bugs but awesome , i think there is no fix for the crashes after maps finished with loading , sometimes i get memory.dll error and sometimes it crashes without an error message , hope they fixed it in 0.9 or 1.0

Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
Hi everyone, I'm new here so I apologize for any noobishness
I recently installed PR on my laptop (core+levels+SP) and it starts up fine but there is 1 issue. When i start the game it goes to the bf2 menu not the pr menu and doesn't play any music. Any ideas to help?
Thank you

Ok not windows vista but windows 7. I cant install PR on 7, I'm guessing a compatibility issue. Anynoe else experiencing issues.

My target is:
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
This is its default. What exact phrases should i replace this line with? Bearing in mind that the PR folder installed into its default placce in "Battlefield 2/ mods"

Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
Ah, i think iv found the problem, there is no pr.exe file in the mods/pr folder. The only thing close to it in that folder is a file called pr.mew . Any ideas what that means i should do? But thanks for the start in, that works fine, just the target now thats the problem.

No pr.exe then no pr .
pr.mew is some intermediate file that gets created (I think), not entirely sure why it appears either.

Re: Windows Vista Users - Troubleshooting Guide for PR
Are these the right places for my shortcut?
Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"
Begin: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"
As im still getting the error that i have to update my shortcuts.
