fictional projection where PR is going to be in far future
This is fictional projection where PR is going to be in far future if devs will keep same approach to the community and implementing a new features and tweaking gameplay

Weapons
- Insurgents has only rocks and molotovs
- Insurgent AK 47 is limited kit - only 4 kits per 64ppls
- deviation of AK 47 increased by 100%
- Insurgent sapper got two squibs
- insurgent instantly dies when pickup OPFOR kit
Kits
- only unlimited kit is rifleman iron sight
- scoped rifleman is limited kit - one per squad
- medic is limited kit only 2 medics per team 64 ppls
Vehicles
- All armor vehicles removed
- each map got only 4 unarmed transpod jeeps
- each map got 1 jeep with mounted .50 cal with spawn time 180minutes
- transport choppers/jets/attack choppers removed
Spawns
- squad leader can setup spawn point himself, no need other players
- spawn point disappear when one enemy is in range 1000m
- civilian respawn time 560Sec
Map
- there is static map under "M" key, no zoom
- no friendly troops/vehicles dispayed on the map, even your position is not displayed
- minimap removed from vehicles
various
-nametags removed form HUD
-markers removed form HUD
-only one cache on the map at the time with no marker

Devs you are doing GREAT job, i really enjoy to play PR, actually i didn't play any other game than PR in last 3 year. I started with Crisis and left it after 3rd mission and get back to PR.
That's how PR is good.
My point is that you should listen more to the community.
As answer to the complains i've heard "Community always cries with new release"
..... but is it your point to make comunity cry with new release?
Every single release comming with new cool stuff that we all appreciated, but why
each new release taking some cool stuff away.
I really can't understand how missing Lynx at Basrah can improve gameplay.

Alex, I'm not sure how you still have the motivation to constantly slate the mod for its lack of vehicles\realism\whatever. You've made your point soooooo many times, I'm really bored of reading these little digs in every thread where assets are mentioned, give it a rest eh? You have your chance to show how you think it should be done in Combined Arms, you are welcome to criticise anything and everything, but these smug comments are completely pointless.
You and CAS dont like it when people make useless digs at Combined Arms e.g 'this mod's only for jet whores and people that cant aim' so why is it ok for you to do the same?

this is again a good example of a player who better should keep playing vanilla because he doesnt like the things PR is about.

because of that your projection is quit unrealistic, because irl there will always be jets, tanks and even armor-battles, so you will always find it in pr.

I don´t know why you are taking it as an insult... Each release the amount of vehicles and variation in layers on maps seems to go down, so you can´t help but be pessimistic about it changing in the future. Who knows, maybe it will? Apparently every time people try suggest that PR has shortcomings, needs improvement and inevitably has a foreseeable future that may denounce the PR name, people come out of the woodwork and begins screaming heresy with pitchforks and torches in hand. This is becoming ridiculous and it's exhausting because it's been going on for years now.
Furthermore the igniting comment is coming from an [R-DEV], and guess what happens if Alex looses his temper and begins exclaiming his opinions? An [R-MOD] walks in, locks the thread and/or issues infraction points to Alex and Drav walks away like nothing happened. And what does this solve? Absolutely nothing. Because the thread get's locked, the problem situation remains and there's no conclusion other than the fact that you've prevented someone from expressing their point of view. And guess what's the result of that? The downhill-snowball-of-developer-flaming is set in motion and you wonder why people get annoyed because no one can speak against the work done.
As far as I'm concerned if PR was a little bit more open minded, we wouldn't be needing a 2nd mod for people to explore their interest in aerial combat in the first place.

I think he's making fun of the fact that when PR often tries to go more realistic/hardcore it only gets more unrealistic and silly. Such as Bottlerocket Launchers (Rpgs) that are supposed to be anti-personel, yet that don't even bleed infantry, the incredibly inaccurate aks, weak IED's and the backwards ROE that only slaps you on the wrist for killing civilians. Don't get me wrong I love the mod, I have been playing it practically since its first release. /agrees with M.warren and Alex, it seems like lately not a lot/if any player criticism has been taken by the team. Thats why so many people are upset and adamant of voicing their opinions, because they feel like the community is not really being heard.

OP you're projection is off slightly. The DEV team plans on having the game uninstall itself from your computer when you die in game. We should have that capability by June 2012 at the latest.

I'm with Drav on this one. It gets so God damn annoying hearing the same thing coming out of your mouth, Alex, every time vehicles in PR get mentioned.
You do have a right to your opinion, and I do respect it, but please just give it a rest. We know you are not satisfied with the way vehicles are presented in PR. I'm betting that was the whole reason Combined Arms was thought up, to make the vehicles function the way you think is realistic.
I have no problem with that and support you 100%; I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully some of the things you make can be implemented into PR if possible.

I am happy for anyone to criticise anything they like, and I will always read it and take it on board. I have played with you in CATA2 and think you're a decent guy, but really, over half your posts here recently have little point, just a sour tone and a general theme of 'the devs are retards because they dont do what i want.' I'm not angry that you criticise the game, you can do that all you like, I am annoyed that most of your posts are just smart assed comments with little point other than general negativity.
Warren I have very little idea what you are talking about, and it seems like you're jumping on the 'hey the devs arent listening to me' bandwagon too. Most of the good ideas for this mod come from the community, and the dev section has many posts that we take from the public suggestions and say 'hey this is a good idea, is it possible?' so when you say the team doesent listen, you are plain wrong.
Anyway, Silly Savage has summed up exactly what I think, any further discussion feel free to pm me.
