Ticket loss if shooting civi!

Yeah i think that 100 seconds when you are civillian is too much...........And if you kill one as US its too big penalty,what about if the civillian are holding his hands up,you will have penalty,but if not,he will not have that...

Kill a civvie 3- tickets, arrest a civvie 5+ tickets.

Dont think arresting a civi should give more tickets than killing one as you arrest a civi by running one over, and that isnt really hard. I was thinking this idea last night after two or three times in fallujah i was gunned down from about 20M away, and then shot another 8 times with my hands up. But idea hit me it does seem some people actually enjoy shooting civis, crazy idea but kinda points that way when im standing in open hands up and someone actually waits to head shot me :/

To be perfectly honest the one time I actually got to play as US on insurgency in 0.86 (because people switch teams, I usually have to be INS every round) I killed many civis myself because they'd pull out their friggin' medic bags and then put their hands up, enabling the penalty kill. Though you shouldn't be allowed to kill civs for that. Anyways, I'm really starting to like Alex6714's idea. Probably the best, in addition to the server message labeling the civi-killer, and a much longer spawn for him too. No ticket loss so people can't betray their own team too badly.

Adetter: You are the first person who I've seen that believes US is punished enough for civi-killing as is. Most people don't notice or care, considering how hard it is for them to die anyways.

Ticket gain/losses to civilians was in .6. Trust me when I say it doesn't work.

i disagree with the team taking the hit, it does not encourage realistic teamplay, how about a more useful punishment such as, no limited kits for 5 minutes after you shoot the civilian? this would mean people would be more aware, and you would keep the same punishments on top of this.
