If you are having a CTD at squad assingment - Re Download from filefront.
Megaupload came out of the closet about its file corruption and were pretty much broken up now...


We are now releasing version .98 of combined arms. The update uses a full installer / updater. This installer will install all required files to the required directory and create a shortcut on your desktop or update your installation of Combined Arms to this version.

I Have Included the server files required for creating a combined arms server for anyone willing please help us out by hosting a combined arms dedicated server. Be sure to include .98 in the name. You must have the PR .86 server files to do this. The file "pr_ca" should be put in the "mods" folder.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Make sure you have PR .86 Installed.
2. Download the installer.
3.Install the game: if you have BF2 in the default location leave the directory as is but if you have Battlefield 2 somewhere else then install to the mods folder in your other installation.
DO NOT PUT /pr_ca on the end, it will fail!!!
4. Click the "Combined Arms" icon and join our official server hosted by Digital Militia (It will be the only one listed).

This installer is very easy to use, it works for any OS and most importantly it will NOT affect your Battlefield 2 or Project Reality installations at all. Your PR shortcut will still be there and it will be just as easy as ever to start up project reality (with both games installed at the same time)

So what is Combined Arms Anyway?
Combined Arms is an add-on to Project Reality. You could think of it like an expansion pack just like Special Forces etc… The goal of Combined Arms is to emphasize the Combined Arms aspect of Project Reality (duh) where infantry, armor, and air assets all coordinate their efforts to form a more effective fighting force; doing so in an environment that implements another level of realism. In addition to serving as a place for players to enjoy such an environment it will also serve as a location to do large scale tests on vehicles, weapons, and game play concepts that may be implemented into the regular PR mod in the future to see if they function as intended and to observe how they affect game play.

As far as a change-log we mostly fixed a lot of bugs and made sure everything is playable. Oh yah, and you may find a WIP surprise that i recommend everyone check out in the south east corner of seethed waters ; )

Sadly our official server wont have this hosted until tomorrow so you wont be able to place out of local until that happens or someone else volunteers a server.

Is it possible to make local game in this mod/minimod? If offical server is down, is it impossible to play? Sry my dumbness, Im not pro in english lanuage, even I have learn 5 years it in the school.
