i'm not one to notice those things being unable to fly anything better than a tank, but if that is happening then it's soooo wrong!!!!

I recall a thread about this last October/November when were all fresh like spring chicks (I still am :P ), I think the answer was something along the lines of, "Maybe it's possible"

I thought the rotors were solid. When friendly fire is off, it's possible to stand on a rotor or put C4 on and you can see it rotating. It's possible to land in trees and stuff because most of them are sprites with a solid trunk. It's like the ability to go through grass without moving it. Choppers are fine at the moment. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Yeh its the same for tank turrets, when you swing your turrent around it goes through walls and such. I agree with Malik when he says "If it's not broken, don't fix it."

These complaints here are about the BF2 engine. Yes, we can all sit down and find a million and one problems with the BF2 engine, but it's not helping the DEVs. The DEVs can alter code and add new models and animations, but they can't change the way BF2 works entirely.

i think it is possible, but i dont think the amount of effort to get it to work (properly) would really be worth it... and alot of people already have enough trouble flying the little birds, I couldn't imagine what this would do!
