Server Access.

Post by MikeDude »

A possible solution for the current behaviour of much PR players ingame.
Way too much people without a mic. No sense of teamwork. In one word ''Noobs''
This might be a awesome Idea.

There should be servers where you need to apply for to be able to play on them.
Like a server called ''cow'' you first need to go too that servers forum page and post a application to be able to play on the server.

This way only real pr players will even try to get access on the server. If this is possible there would be a big difference between ''Noob'' servers, and ''pro tactic'' servers.

Discuss. Thanks.

Well this is pretty much what happens when you password a server. I was not here for a while so I can't tell you if it works out but point is that it's not a new idea. ;)

And its now been setup ( Details in my sig below )

The server is not currently passworded, but as soon as we have more members it will. ;)

I dont mean a password. I mean just a access list for a server. Just like you have now with a 62-64 Server. That the last two spots are for people on the list.
They can make a way bigger list for people who have access.

That was the original plan for the Reality Teamwork server, but it was decided that it was too big a job to manually enter every members hash. A password is easier for everyone.

I'm really looking forward to the RT server. IMO a whitelist would have been better, but if that means that someone has to enter every single username into the server list of accepted members, I can understand your decision. I'm gonna try to encourage my squadmates to play on RT as I have yet to meet a real tard on your server. Good work!

User Ubaydah: "I used to play Call of Duty a lot and Battlefield 3. I am really good at those games 10th prestige, High K/d., I can kill people easily, etc. But on PR, for me, to be honest, I kind of suck."

User Not_able_to_kill: "Frontliner, you like evil man who comes to family house during christmas, takes out tree because it's too happy, so they can be just as sad as you"
