I download the new version of PR 0.86 after a days
I have problem with Punk Buster and it say,
Unknown Windows API Function [131134]
could any more tell me what is this mean!!

i cant help you but i also get this exact same kick my O/S is vista
i can play on trianing servers and not get kicked and some normal ones. it worked fine 2days ago

I recently installed Blink on my computer. Now when I try to play on a punkbuster sever I get kicked with this error message: Unknown Windows API Function 131134. I've tried disabling and shutting down Blink but to no avail. Repairing the registry might work, but I'd like to avoid that if possible. I have XP Pro and the only way I know of doing this (aside from downloading an application that is probably malware) is manually copy the files over from install disk. It also might break some applications so I'd really like to avoid it. Also Blink might just change whatever it is back so I'm afraid my only option is to uninstall and repair the registry. sad
I'll be sending in a ticket to the punkbuster crew after posting this. I'd just like to know if anyone could offer some advice. I did a search and found two similar problems, but they weren't of much help.

* In Blink go to View>Options...
* Click the Application Protection tab.
* Select Monitor and log only.
* Reboot (this is required).
* Turn off Application Protection.
So you may have a video app like 'frapps' or something causing the error.
You will just need to do some 'leg work' on Google if no one here knows what the fix is.
Please post back here for others if you find a fix.

Try closing down all the other programs running in the background and than run pr see if you still get the same error, it is probably something running in the background that is getting you kicked.

i read that others have tried shutting down all apps but still got kicked. As far as iv read on the error it could be any number of programs causing this.
but the thing is there is nothing new on my pc from when it last worked maybe its something thats down loaded without me knowing?
im not that good with these things but i have had every other error there is with PB and fixed it by reading this forum its been a pain in backside everytime mind.why cant thay just make anti cheat softwere like other games have you know ones that work and dont make you jump through a million hoops
