Downloads :: DAEMON-Tools.cc
CD and DVD Burning Software - Alcohol 120% - Alcohol 52% and Alcohol 52% Free
Download both programs.
Create a disc image of your BF2 disc using Alcohol 120%.
Mount the disc image on a virtual drive using Daemon Tools.
Been using my disc image for years. I only use the physical BF2 disc for full re-installs and it looks the same as it did when I bought it. I even noticed a slight improvement with load times for maps.

You could also use DAEMON Tools and download a mini-image from gamecopyworldDesmoLocke wrote:Downloads :: DAEMON-Tools.cc

Or you could try to install EA Download Manager and see if you copy of BF2 is listed there as a downloadable game. If so, you can download it for free and use it instead of your original discs.
