ati 4850 won't boot !!! ahhh

well my xfx ati 4850 wont boot. ??: normaly when my old card was in my pc ( and is now ) it goes like this : beep woosh beep woosh then the dell bios then windows and im on my way ....Now with the new card it beeps and wooshes fine but no bios and no windows. I have pluged it in fine. ( i think. ). i also have a power supply that is sufficent, 550 watts.

last week had 2 duff xfx 4890's from overclockers, when plugged in 8pin power wouldnt boot with just the single 6pin ways booted but said power wasn't connected. got a 620w corsair. Think there may be some duff power sockets.


Overclockers pissed me off with their attitude considering they had sent me 2 duff cards.

ok i will try that tonight. hopefuly its just a dead socket not a totaly dead card ....

problem fixed loose 6 pin !!! yay i run arma on almost all high now
