Ive read it as dont expect to see a insurgancy channel just use the UKWF channel thats there. This channel will be used for the insurg server for the evening until new channel for insurg server can be set up in the near future.

Yeah nice one me ol chap look forward to having a game or two. Ive been on your server a couple of times since its release with a few UKWF guys, but If im not populating our server im admining, so I cant get away often. I used to play on m2s quite a bit when I very first started playing nilla, you guys are always good company..

What server is the 1.5 beta on?

If you look at the top on the connect screen theres a server browser tab and a CUSTOM SERVER TAB.
Click on the custom server tab and project reality server should be default. Add your name and connect mate.


Dont forget fellas, connect and join the UKWF INSURGENCY CHANNEL!!

This event is designed to help Stress test the new Mumble however i hope everyone can have fun at the same time. To aid everyone in their enjoyment please respect other people using mumble. Don't use push to talk when theirs 1:30 till the new round starts, and address people correctly when in the squad leader channels,

p.s. I am running widescreenfixer 1.32 (1680x1050 / 16:10 ratio) - but never had a problem with that before.

Make sure the Mumble overlay is disabled as I think PB still doesn't like it when used with BF2.

Another thing I gathered from the UKWF Insurgency Mumble night is that most would prefer a channel per team. And I wonder how "realistic" it is hearing a young Brit boys voice coming from an Insurgent character anyways...

Just a quick update:

I think I've pinpointed the reason. For anyone else experiencing the same kick:

Widescreen Fixer 1.32 (used to work on BF2/PR no problem).

Nice event!

I think its realistic that you can hear the enemy talking also, but even if its fun to taunt dead enemy or taunting as dead then its not so realistic.

Perfect using mumble along with ingame voip. Its nice if you meet someone on the battlefield then you can talk with him and get a sitrep etc.

Thanks to everyone who came to our event. We managed to get about 2/3 full at one point, while it wasn't full , everyone was on mumble and we did aid in the stress testing of the server which is great.
We've come away with some ideas so maybe we will host something else sometime soon.
