On another previous computer that I ran BF2 on, my VOIP worked, but I believe it was on XP. When I got my new computer, an Alienware with Vista, my VOIP doesn't work. I can hear my teammates talk, but when I press "B" and the microphone does show up in the right to show I'm capturing, they can't hear me. I'm using a Logitech USB headset and my microphone works in Ventrilo and Mumble. When I try and run BF2 Voice Setup, no matter what I do, the bar doesn't move, like it can't hear my mic. Help!

Re: VOIP Problems
Go into Vistas audio setup and make sure 'mike boost' it checked (on)
fix it for me (Vista 64)

Re: VOIP Problems
There's no option for "Mic Boost" on properties. I have a Logitech USB Headset, I don't know if that makes a difference.

Re: VOIP Problems
I use a USB headset with Vista.
Look in your recording tab
click on microphone then click lower right 'properties' button
Click on the 'custom' tab
You should see mike boost check box now
check it, hit apply then close out.
Start game and setup audio.
Good luck
