Hi people! Great Mod and Great Team Play Possibility

Thanks for the efforts on this mod!

i'm new on this forum & mod but as an ex-army personnel, this mode attracted me and my few friends. We are all installing it and will start to play asap.

Best!

Hmm i've made a little research about mumble on this forum. But thanks again for your kindness. I'll give it a try.

It looks this is the most suitable VC program for PR.

Mumble can be good, however its hit and miss. Its like joining Teamspeak with 20 other strangers, you are guarenteed to get some ******* talking all the time or playing music.

As for the mod, its great fun, get on the training, learn to fly and drive, learn how to build etc.

Also be warned...The players in the training servers do not represent the players on the proper servers.
Busy training servers are full of the rejects from the proper game who have either been banned or are just looking to mess around and piss everyone off. :) my advice, find an empty Kashan desert training server with your buddies

Just to add to this part.

Be sure to thoroughly check the Already Suggested Suggestions Thread first and then do a basic search to check if it's already been done. People here have big respect for those who do this.

Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay! :m1helmet:

And here comes the most useful information. Read the manual and practice on the training servers. ;)

Thank you all for your help and warm welcoming.

I'll try what you've offered about forum usage and gameplay.

I know that teamplay is a key factor to play this mod and i'll try to give my best from my past real-life experiences. Again, thank you all for your helpful advises and warm welcoming.

definately u and your friends should read manual and practice on training server as R-CON MAINERROR said. because PR is VERY different from BF2. it has same graphics (but better) but the gameplay is 100% different. Tanks have like 15 min respawn time for example.

Welcome to Project Reality, volks! :)
It's good to have you and your buddies around.

I must "warn" you however. PR has a steep learning curve, so please hold on, when you have no clue where you're getting shot from (you'll get that, I know you will, hehe). Hang in there, and keep playing, and in no-time, you'll be a PR vet, knowing all the ins and outs of the game :) .

Imagine that in a movie trailer voice! One man...... oh noes.. :D

I can defiantly relate to that. I just started playing and I sure get lost at times. It defiantly is harder then BF2 but much better. Practice makes perfect :)

Gosh I remember my first two rounds in PR back in 0.5. :D

It was so intense. Just awesome. The first thing I did was to blow up a Black Hawk on Al Basrah right after take off. Then on Kashan I ran around like a headless chicken (still do that sometimes but just for the lulz :P ) and found myself in the middle of the desert no clue what to do. :D

Will actually never forget this feeling. haha.

hehe

as i learned in the army, i read the briefing  carefully. My mates also read the manual.

As you say, it is dangerously close to the real life so that is a positive thing for me.

But again, we are gaming here and we will act like noobs for some time in your servers actually.

But i'm gambling on my squad for a decent start and enjoyable pr experience.

Looking forward to face you in the combat zone after getting used to this mod. :D
