No Servers Showing, Crashes when clicking on favourites!

Okay i have installed PR and the levels, version .86! Now when i open PR, there is no music when the menu appears. Also when trying to connect to a sever, there is no servers showing in the list. On top of that, it crashes when clicking on favourites.
I have tried direct connection but it only shows up saying that it failed to connect.
My internet connection is 256kbps, works fine on normal bf2, only playing local servers.
Since my connection is that slow, i dont want to wait 23 hours for the core client to download again, same with the levels!
I just want to play

Is bf2 patched to 1.41?

Yes, i installed 1.41 before installing the core and level files.

To reiterate, Vanilla bf2 fine, as well as a couple of other mods!

and its definately .86 core and .86 levels installed?

Try getting .NET Framework 3.5 sp 1 and making sure that is installed then running the game.

.86 both core and levels! The 3.5 framework is installed! Did that before everything else just to make sure!

It sounds like you may have to re-download buddy

Try using the Torrent this time so you dont end up with a corrupt installer.

Damn, that is the opposite of what i wanted!
Oh well, thanks for the help, any-ways im getting new internet during the week, 1.5mbps baby, you can im tell in the space age!

Which torrent should i use?
Would it be worth trying to download .85 core and levels and patch it? Or just stick with .86?

Stick with .86 mate.

Just use the torrent for the levels, but it may be wise to download them both, levels and core again.
