Aiming and Shots

Hi there,

im playing pr 0.86 for a week and i noticed something that i can't actually shoot where i aimed.

I think it is most probably caused by the latency/ping.. Anyone knows about a way of fixing ping problem. (btw, i generally dont play above 150 ping)

By the way, im not talking a shot based on regular bf2, i know that this mode is realistic but even in 10 meters, i mainly cant hit the point i aimed. However, sometimes i can shoot.

Any advise?

please tell us the exact steps you're taking when trying to shoot something.
because we don't know that you might know that you have to wait 4 seconds with regular rifles and 8 seconds with sniper rifles before firing.

Stay still ! DO NOT MOVE and your aiming will get better.

This is not realistic, but this deviation system was the best that the devs could bring to us to avoid some prone-spamers and bunny-hoppers (typo here ?, sorry).

dont shoot on the move, stop and wait maybe 2 or3 seconds depending on the range of the target before firing, pace your shots with 1 or 2 second intervals and your weapon will be accurate.

and romagnolo, deviation is not the devs fix for prone spamming and bunnyhopping. IIRC deviation rewards prone spam as its the fastest way to reduce your accruacy (hopefully fixed in new bf2 patch)
