How do you mark things for the commander

Post by Beflar »

How do you mark things for the commander?

Stupid question but do you just tell him buy pressing V?

Does he see you marking things like when you T>observe to your squad?

Is there another key pad I should use.

I've never been commander for more than three seconds. Not sure how I can help as squad leader.

Commanders on their map will see markers placed by squads while they have that squad selected.
Normal Markers that you place as a squad leader, your commander will be able to see.
To talk to him over VOIP you can press V (By default)

This might help you a little, (Link.)

As Squad Leader, put a marker (attack, observe, defend, etc) where you want to report a contact (you should be doing this anyways to tell your squad members where to look/shoot), press Q (default radio comm rose key) and select the "CONTACT REPORT" option right in the middle. This will send the position you marked to the commander. Then he can select what to mark in there from his options. So it's common for the SL to mark and tell the commander on voip "Tank spotted", so he can put the right marker in.
